Final SP! doujinshi, ichigo no kimochi

Another release, another editor. This time the quick editing and release of the final of the three angelbox Strawberry Panic! doujinshi is because of thetime, who volunteered to use his skills for the good of humanity. I thought about making a torrent with all three of them too but I am too lazy. Anon can do it if he wants. For the first time in more than half a year I have nothing translated and left unedited, but fear not, I have already started on something new and yuri. There has been a lot of yuri recently, and there will be in the future, but we are not a dedicated yuri group and there might be more "normal" releases to come too.

Strawberry Kiss! Finally!!

Finally!!! More than half a year after I translated it, here it is. A big thanks to Azure Flash for finishing it even though he was busy with other things. I really like this group (angelbox).

I have been busy with work recently, but I will start translating one of the yuri doujinshi previously mentioned very soon. I won't give any dates or promises but I think there will be more releases soon, hopefully this month.

inori no uta translation script

Not terribly interesting, but I am posting the script for the simoun doujinshi I did for /u/ here too. We will not be releasing this but anon editor will do the editing and you can hopefully pick it up on 4chan soon. I am just posting it here just in case. I will start translating one of the mentioned yuri doujinshi now, but I don't know how soon I can have it ready. Enjoy inori no uta while you wait, it's quite good and looong......

The Age of Yuri is upon us!!

There was a thread on /u/ (previous post also refers to this) where I asked why people would pay to have things translated and offered to translate for free instead, and there was some discussion etc. Anyway, Sny was criticized for being slow, especially with the (too few) yuri releases. This is of course true. We have been horribly slow. And not done enough yuri. A part of the problem is that I do/did not have any good raws and that no one suggested anything. It ended up with me promising to translate a simoun doujinshi and post the translation on /u/ instead of our editors spending forever on it. I also once again requested that people send suggestions and raws.

And someone did. A kind gentleman sent the links to no less than 10 yuri doujinshi. I say we do all of them. I am sure many would like me to just post the script on 4chan and let others do the editing, instead of waiting forever on one of our editors. I however, prefer to release them in the usual way because we can then offer a finished product which I have control over, I can check for errors and make changes etc. So here is what we will do; we will try to release in the usual way, but if I have finished scripts laying around and no available editor who can edit, I promise to post the scripts here and on 4chan.

We will finish what we are already working on, but we will not start on anything else before finishing these. If anyone knows that any of them has already been done, then please tell us.

SnY is one year old!

Yay, our first birthday. Here is a little birthday present from us (though it should be the other way around), our first release, ichigo no tsubomi, re-translated and re-edited. We were completely unexperienced back then and did a lot of mistakes, as well as a crappy piece of work in general, so I decided to re-do it from the start. The difference is huge so be sure not to miss it(and delete the old crappy version, please).

We were going to release the T2/Tony hayate doujinshi, I had even translated most of it, but some other group beat us to it. A shame to waste work but these things happen.

As for the future, I will be busy with exams and moving until early summer, there might or might not be another release before then, but don't expect too much. After that I will have lots of time on my hands and there will be many releases(I hope).

Edit: Forgot to mention this, we now have raws for Akiko-san to issho 2 and I will start translating it the coming weekend.

First release: ichigo no tsubomi(Strawberry panic)(update: v2 released)

Finally, our first release! This is a Strawberry Panic! doujinshi from C71 featuring Hikari, Yaya and Tsubomi. In case you have not seen the anime or read the manga, Strawberry Panic! is about a number of girls attending an all girls school out in the country somewhere. It is completely free of men, in other words, this is a yuri doujinshi. It has a nice story and good artwork and is definetly worth a download. Please feel free to comment our release.
